Linda Bergroth

Linda Bergroth is the interior designer of HEL YES!

Based in Helsinki and Paris, Bergroth's (b. 1978) work ranges from product and interior design to set design. Her design approach, valued by Marimekko among other clients, combines Nordic design traditions with emotion and playfulness. She is having a long-term love affair with parties and delicacies.

What is the inspiration behind the HEL YES! space?

"There is a story that in the old times there were nomadic bistros on the sea ice between Finland and Estonia. These yurts were apparently put up along the main trade routes yet their exact location remains a mystery since it’s difficult to map locations that exist on the sea. We were inspired by this idea of a camp-like, ephemeral place that offers shelter, social contacts and food for passing nomads."
